Welcome to ZombieLynx.com, a BucketLynx LLC (“BucketLynx”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use ZombieLynx.

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, configure monitors, subscribe, enable SMS alerts, or contact support. This may include:

  • Mobile phone number (if SMS alerts/authentication are enabled)
  • Monitor configuration data (e.g., monitored URLs/endpoints, check intervals, alert preferences)
  • Alert history and monitor status history
  • Support communications

We automatically collect limited technical information such as:

  • Usage logs and timestamps
  • Session identifiers (e.g., PHPSESSID)

Payment information is processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

  • Provide and operate ZombieLynx (including performing checks and delivering uptime/alert functionality)
  • Process subscription payments
  • Authenticate users and prevent fraud/abuse
  • Send service-related communications (e.g., billing, security, policy updates)
  • Send SMS messages if you enable SMS features
  • Maintain, secure, and improve the Services
  • Provide support

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information only as necessary to operate ZombieLynx, including with:

4. DATA RETENTION

We retain account information while your account is active. Upon cancellation, we delete your account data in accordance with our Terms of Service. Backup copies may remain temporarily as part of routine system backups before permanent deletion.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. SESSION COOKIES (Strictly Necessary)

ZombieLynx uses a strictly necessary session cookie (PHPSESSID) to maintain login sessions and enable core functionality. This cookie stores only a random session identifier and does not store personal data directly in your browser.

8. SMS COMMUNICATIONS

If you provide a mobile phone number and affirmatively enable SMS features within your account settings, you consent to receive text messages from ZombieLynx related to:

  • Account authentication and one-time passcodes (OTP), if enabled
  • Monitoring alerts (e.g., uptime/downtime notifications), if enabled

Message frequency varies and messages are sent only in response to authentication attempts or monitoring events. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP or by disabling SMS in your account settings. For assistance, reply HELP. Consent to receive SMS messages is not required as a condition of purchasing services. You represent that you are the authorized subscriber or customary user of the phone number provided. We do not send marketing or promotional messages via SMS, and we do not sell or share your mobile number for marketing.

9. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we collect about you, and to request information about categories of personal information collected and disclosed.
